Defend Dewley Hill will lead a walk around the site proposed for coal extraction at Dewley Hill to raise awareness of the campaign against a new coal mine in Newcastle.

This is a good chance to see the landscape and wildlife that would be devastated if Banks Mining were to get permission to mine coal here, and to meet fellow campaigners.

If you would like to join the demonstration, bring banners and placards to St Mary the Virgin Church, 310 Newburn Rd, Throckley, Newcastle upon Tyne NE15 9AB on Friday 12th July for a 6pm departure.
