Ponteland Town Council has raised several concerns about the plans for open cast mining at Dewley Hill.

Meanwhile opposition continues to grow and a new group - 'Defend Dewley Hill' - has been formed.

We have requested this petition is debated by Newcastle City Council on 3rd April, but are still awaiting a response.
