Just look at the shocking data!

The Reality of New Zealand's Shameful Child Abuse Offences
New Zealand has one of the WORST rates of child abuse in the developed world. What is even more shocking is the fact that GUILTY child abusers are not being held accountable for their horrific, violent, deviant choices.

Using non-custodial sentences for guilty child abuse offenders...
-Does not provide community safety
-Does not honour the stolen innocence a precious child has forever lost
-Does not reflect the seriousness of the horrific crimes committed against each victim
-Does not act as a deterrent for further offending
-Does not equate to the life-long effects an innocent victim will suffer
-Does not offer access to the individual, specialised rehabilitation/reintegration courses designed to prevent further offending.
Non-custodial sentences should never be used for crimes against our precious children!
