Petition request - 
That the House of Representatives conduct inquiries into the increasing level of home detention sentences for serious, violent crimes against children, and into the discounts given to offenders who choose to commit violent crimes against children.
Petition reason -
We believe our innocent children are suffering the most horrific forms of abuse. They deserve better, especially from our justice system. In our view, dangerous, violent offenders are getting away with the most hideous of crimes, then sentenced to pathetic, unjust sentences. Home detention should NEVER be imposed for serious violent crimes committed against our most vulnerable victims. We believe ridiculous discounts are being gifted at sentencing, which takes away offender's accountability.

Our most innocent, most vulnerable victims need our help! New Zealand has one of the highest levels of Child Abuse in the developed world. A shameful reality for so many precious children. They need our help! Guilty child abusers MUST be held to account for the horrific choices they have made. Children can NOT stop child abuse - only adults can
