We did it!

After countless years of asking for a 4-way stop sign at this intersection, DOT finally installed the signs seemingly overnight without notice and painted the crosswalk lines on the street a couple weeks later.

While some people are rolling through the stop sign or just blatantly ignoring it, most people are stopping or at least slowing down at the sign.

We know this sign won’t make this intersection perfectly safe, but we’re hoping it will at least mitigate speeding and prevent future accidents at this intersection.

This stop sign is no cure-all for street safety, but it is definitely is a step in the right direction.
