Skarner has received five skins since his release, two of which were launched on his first day, 9-Aug-2011. The last Skarner skin was released in 2020.

Skarner was a niche champion even after his rework, and his lack of skins is understandable. However, Skarner has experienced both of the longest hiatuses for skins in LoL: from 2011 to 2015 and from 2020 to now.

Other champions with a lack of skins had at least two skin releases after 2020, such as Vel'Koz, Sion, Rek'Sai, Mordekaiser, and Zilean. Meanwhile, Skarner has had only one.

We understand that Skarner had a lot of trouble with his rework, which came out two years after its announcement. We also understand that skins are planned yearly, but now, with a bigger player base, we think it's possible to have a skin in 2025 that aligns with his theme.
