Vote Yes on HB255 2021 New Mexico Bill enabling 3500 Small Business Owners the opportunity to sell liquor in their establishments by allowing them to purchase liquor licenses.  The economics is great for everyone,  but especially the restaurant industry who has struggled with the unfair priced, extremely limited liquor licensing due to archaic laws that are long outdated. Licenses should be available to all New Mexico business owners eligible. Not treated like property lease or sold like property. This is one responsibility the state is responsible for and should be  generating revenue from a well as equalizing the playing field for all foods establishments. Not one new license in 39 years, since 1982, has been issued. That's a lot of lost revenue on all sides. Expanding the consumers options is also great for tourism. Give our business owners a fighting chance and vote Yes on 255.
