Winx Club is a bright show, and very diverse showing 3/6 being a person of color. “Musa” being an asian, “Flora” being a latina, and “Aisha” or “Layla” being an African American. Then in the reboot happened and it went down to 1/5 due to whitewashing of the cast “Aisha” remaining. They replaced the rest with white actors. They removed one character “Techna” from the original show and, replaced “Flora” with another white character “Terra”. They also removed the bright charming characteristic and replaced it with a deep dark elements being unreliable to the original source material. The characters in the original the girls were 18 the new one the girls look 30 making it unrealistic. Overall I am saying that this project is horrible and needs to be canceled or redone because of A.) The whitewashing of the cast, B.) The unreliability of the plot, C.) Getting rid/replacement of characters, and D.) The age of the actors not aligning with the original.
