The Gadhimai animal sacrifice, which occurs every 5 years, is a bloodbath in the true sense of the word. Not only are a large number of animals slaughtered, but such a sacrifice propagates superstition, fills the pockets of a select few, and forces the poor devotees to purchase animals that are well beyond their monetary means. This is the 21st century and such a 'tradition' has no place in the modern world. We pledge to FULLY BOYCOTT NEPAL, including 'Made in Nepal' products, and will not visit the country until the Nepal government ends the Gadhimai animal sacrifice. No more bloodfest!
