This petition is in support of the Open letter and a Memorandum of demands sent to the Mayor of Port Elizabeth, Tshonono Buyeye. This Petition demands the presence of the NMMB Mayor and his office at the March, to address the city on its demands to end Gender Based Violence.

South Africa is one of the top countries in the world when it comes to Gender Based Violence, being a woman in South Africa has become one of the most dangerous things to be. This petition and the March that will take place is yet another plea to government and members of society with enough power to help us end GBV in SA and in Port Elizabeth.
