Stop The Abuse of Horses in The Melbourne Cup

Stop The Abuse of Horses in The Melbourne Cup
The Issue
My name is Amelie Davy, and I am 13 years old. Please help me end the horrific abuse of horses in the Melbourne cup.
These horses are whipped, kicked, yelled at, beaten and sometimes they can even die if treated as inhumanely as they usually are. There have been six (6) deaths of these beautiful, majestic creatures since 2013, and nobody seems to care.
There was one horse, Cliffsofmoher, who had to be euthanized after injuring his shoulder horribly at the start of his race. Vets concluded that he was "unable to be saved". This is terrible and I will not stand for it.
My gorgeous Clydesdale, Mannie, lives in a beautiful large paddock with two (2) of his lovely friends. They are groomed and cared for wonderfully. They always have access to appropriate feeding/nutrition, water and medical care.
These animals are not treated the same way.
The injured horses will either suffer in agony until their demise or be recklessly carted off to be shot and killed for horse meat. They are miserable and treated awfully 90 per cent of the time. The horses kick, stamp on, and trip other horses accidentally in the races, sometimes breaking their necks, legs or even backs in some cases.
Racehorses that are unable to breed, are infertile or retired, will most likely have the same impending, agonizing death as the sick or injured ones. It's truly repulsive.
Most jockeys treat their horses wonderfully, and I am so glad that they do. I just wish to see that people will oversee the treatment of these poor animals so that they do not end up dying or injured like the others. For those who care about the welfare of horses, ponies and the like, please help me get this to the Victorian Racing Club CEO, Neil Wilson. He can help us to end these creature's suffering and I need your help to do so.
We can end the suffering of these animals. I am NOT, repeat NOT saying that the Melbourne cup must be stopped. I am saying that the treatment of these animals needs to change. We can change this together.
Regards
Amelie Davy
