Thanks to the 1000+ supporters of the Petition.  

The response has been amazing!

We had a chance to participate in the Subdivision Subcommittee review today. Myself and others of the community voiced our concerns and I made them aware of the petition and public response to this Redwood Jackson Township site plan.

The subcommittee stated that they are merely following the guidelines of their regulations and this meeting was to review the initial plans.  Our input as public participants was noted including the status of the petition, but I fear that it will not be enough to sway any decision makers at this step of the process.

The Regional Planning Commission will be meeting tomorrow evening (Tuesday 7PM EST).   I suspect there will be multiple conditional approvals in place before the plan can go to final plan review in future SCRPC meetings. 

Meanwhile, there are currently land use restrictions in the deed which need to be changed before Redwood can develop their community.   This deed/title is now going through a court process under Stark County Court Case 2025CV02110.   If this deed/title gets amended via this quiet title case, then it will remove a major roadblock for Redwood to use the land as they intend.
