I am happy to share The Protect Act was voted out of The Appropriations Committee Friday 4/22. We pray that with out of cell time being law that Cheshire CI will benefit from standardized consistent treatment. Please join in on some upcoming efforts further detailed below.

This is the week Stop Solitary Confinement Connecticut anticipates The Protect Act will be voted out of the House & Senate so we are keeping up our presence at The Capitol  to urge legislators to VOTE YES to SB459!!

All that’s required is that, you have read the fact sheets they have provided and are confident/knowledgeable about what our bill entails.
