Nationally recognize Halloween as a Federal Holiday

The Issue

Halloween is the 2nd most popular holiday among Americans, and it’s festivities are often recognized by towns and cities (parades, parties, school festivities, work parties, etc) but the fact that the holiday itself is not recognized as a day off and a federal holiday for most jobs+schools is outrageous given its popularity and impact on the nation throughout history. For proof, 70% of Americans celebrate Halloween with festivities, and that’s only festivities. Make Halloween nationally recognized!
