National Petition for Fair, Transparent & Leak-Free Exams in India

National Petition for Fair, Transparent & Leak-Free Exams in India

The Issue

India's education system is at a crucial juncture where transparency and integrity in examination processes must be given utmost priority. In recent times, there have been distressing reports of exam paper leaks and lack of appropriate action, undermining the credibility of crucial assessments such as IAS, NEET, and other government-related exams and entrance tests. This petition aims to address these pressing issues and restore trust in our educational framework.

Examinations are pivotal in shaping the future of millions of aspiring students across India. Instances of leaked papers and unfair practices not only jeopardize the careers of these students but also erode public confidence in our educational institutions. It is imperative that examination-conducting bodies, like the National Testing Agency (NTA), adhere to stringent guidelines and uphold the sanctity of the examination process.

In light of the recent failures attributed to the NTA, we demand the immediate removal of the Union Education Minister and stringent action against the director of NTA. Accountability at the highest levels is necessary to prevent recurrence and to signal to the nation that such negligence will not be tolerated.

We call upon the Prime Minister to intervene and take decisive actions to reform these processes, ensuring transparency and accountability in all future examinations. Measures such as implementing robust security protocols, digital tracking of examination papers, and issuing penalties for breaches must be instituted. Additionally, a public report highlighting past breaches and corrective measures undertaken by the NTA should be made accessible to the public to rebuild confidence.

The failure of the NTA to conduct examinations without mishap reflects a broader systemic issue that needs urgent attention. We need reassurances through concrete actions, not just words, to restore faith in our educational system and government bodies.

Join us in this cause to demand a reformed examination system that ensures a fair and just process for all aspirants. Sign this petition to hold decision-makers accountable and make our education system more reliable and transparent.
