This petition is for all college rodeo athletes who lost their season due to COVID-19. To help them get an additional year of eligibility! The amount of time, money, sacrifice, and hard work that was put into their season should no go to waste. In addition college rodeo athletes are unlike any other intercollegiate athlete, they have to pay entry fees to get to compete, they have to pay fuel money to get to the rodeos, and pay money to care for their equine partners that are also athletes. Whereas in every other intercollegiate sport they are provided with sleeping arrangements for away games, uniforms, and have no travel expenses. The majority of other intercollegiate sports have already received notification that they will receive and additional year of eligibility due to COVID-19 cutting their season short. So please help the college rodeo athlete that slept in their car to get to compete and the athlete that put their last penny down to get their entry fees payed. All for a shot at making the college finals. With your help you can help insure that these college athletes and their equine partners get the season they deserve!
