Justice is a process full of delays and denials. The victim wants immediate action in the form of punishment, for those who are responsible. When the life of the victim has been taken, the voice has been silenced. They are unable to identify those responsible or convey the degree to which they were victimized. When it comes to police murders, the lives of the victims and each and every voice has been silenced. They can NIETHER Identify those responsible or the degree to which they were mercilessly taken from among us. But justice cannot be denied because the victim no longer "speaks". It must be fought for, "demanded" and insisted upon without consideration of the willingness of government to do so. We do not consider the willingness of the offending party, nor the justifications being giving. Because "murder" of the unarmed and innocent can never be "just" no matter how you explain it. It is wrong to take life without reason. And wrong to declare "not guilty" to those who have done so.
Yet, an "ongoing history" exist of declaring the guilty "innocent" and by doing so, they have declared each life unworthy of living. And because they have taken life "without cause" it is a Proclaimation that "no life, is worth living" and can be taken at will, because reason was not needed. The fight being waged here, is not only for lives that were taken, but each and every life that stands at risk for the same. And the process - despite delays and denials, must be taken without consideration of the willingness of government to do so. We are not in "agreement" with the murders they've approved. We see no basis to trust their judgement, for they have judged "the guilty" innocent. So what consideration should be given, as to whether they'd "agree" with a demand seeking punishment?
Therefore, do not be dissuaded behind the refusal to prosecute and hold police accountable, because of an "existing history" of their doing so. Nation wide action will call to question that history, and the basis for its continuance. For the unjust murders of "unarmed innocents" demands it. And we are those who have responded.
