NATIONAL ACTION AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY!

    1. Danette Chavis
    2. Petition by

      Danette Chavis

      New York, United States

INVESTIGATIONS "CASE BY CASE" HAVE NOT AND SHALL NOT REMEDY THE PROBLEM! AS ONE IS BEING INVESTIGATED "HUNDREDS MORE" ARE MOUNTING UP! AND INDEED, POLICE BRUTALITY HAS ESCALATED TO THE LEVEL OF "NATIONAL PROPORTIONS". THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS ARE BEING "STOPPED AND FRISKED" FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER. THE LOSS OF LIFE THAT HAS OCCURRED AT THE HANDS OF POLICE HAS ESCALATED TO WHERE "UNARMED INDIVIDUALS" ARE BEING "FIRED UPON" AND "KILLED" AND WEEKS AND MONTHS GO BY - WITH "NO EXPLANATION" FOR THESE SHOOTINGS BY THEIR DEPARTMENT!

THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL WITHIN THESE STATES HAVE "REFUSED TO ACT" - LEAVING ALL ACTION TO BE TAKEN BY THE COMMISSIONER'S OF THESE DEPARTMENTS. AND THE COMMISSIONER'S HAVE "JUSTIFIED" THE ACTIONS OF THESE OFFICERS - AND IN MANY CASES "PROMOTED THEM" AFTER THE KILLING OF THESE VICTIMS. THE MECHANISMS THAT HAVE BEEN PUT IN PLACE HAVE "ALL FAILED" AND THE ESCALATION OF POLICE BRUTALITY IS "EVIDENCE" OF THAT FAILURE.

WE HAVE WITNESSED THE CONFESSIONS OF POLICE THEMSELVES WHO HAVE TESTIFIED THAT THEY WERE "MADE TO ISSUE SUMMONSES" AND "MAKE ARRESTS" WITHOUT CAUSE - AND THE SUBSEQUENT "HARASSMENT" WHICH FOLLOWED "IMMEDIATELY AFTER" THEIR REFUSAL. WE HAVE HEARD TESTIMONY IN COURT HOW THEY INDEED "PLANTED NARCOTICS" ON "INNOCENT VICTIMS" - SIMPLY TO MEET THE "QUOTA REQUIRED" CONCERNING AN ARREST. YET, THOSE INDIVIDUALS REMAIN INCARCERATED FOR THE CRIME ACCUSED.

THE RECOURSE OF THE PEOPLE HAS BEEN THWARTED, SO THAT THERE REMAINS "NO COURSE OF ACTION" THAT CAN BE TAKEN. THEREFORE, THIS EPIDEMIC WHICH HAS REACHED "NATIONAL PROPORTIONS" HAS BEEN PRESENTED TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE UNITED STATES, FOR IMMEDIATE INVESTIGATION, ACTION AND REMEDY.

AS THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE UNITED STATES, THE OCCUPIER OF OFFICE IS THE "CHIEF LAW ENFORCER" HAVING JURISDICTION OVER BOTH "STATE" AND "GOVERNMENT" IN ISSUES CONCERNING "LAW". AND WHEN VIOLATIONS OF LAW ARE "RAMPANT" "UN-CHECKED" AND "UNABATED" - HE HAS A "SWORN DUTY" TO RESPOND THOSE VIOLATIONS.

LAW ENFORCEMENT ACROSS THE UNITED STATES HAS "ABUSED THE AUTHORITY" VESTED IN THEM, AND HAVE VIOLATED ON A "CONTINUAL BASIS" THE LAW ITSELF. BUT NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN, EITHER BY THEIR DEPARTMENT OR ATTORNEY GENERALS WITHIN THEIR STATE.

THEREFORE, PETITION IS MADE BEFORE THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE UNITED STATES TO NOT ONLY "ACT" ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES, BUT TO FULFILL THE OBLIGATIONS OF THE OFFICE - FOR WHICH HE HAS "SWORN AN OATH" TO FULFILL UPON HIS OCCUPANCY!

LET IT BE UNDERSTOOD: THAT A "FAILURE" OR REFUSAL TO "ACT" IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OBLIGATIONS CONCERNING THOSE DUTIES, SIGNIFIES AN "INABILITY" TO HOLD THE OFFICE - WHICH IS "NOW" BEING HELD.

    1. AN IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!

      Danette Chavis
      Petition Organizer

Yesterday, September 20th, I was a guest speaker at an INPDUM conference in Newark, NJ. The conference was "live streamed" and recorded and I had delayed this posting, in the hopes of obtaining of copy of that panel discussion for you to hear and see for yourselves but was unable. It was a very powerful conference and I was particularly moved by the stories that were told by others on the panel with me, for the report they gave concerning our current circumstances was "real, truthful" and didn't play around with the facts. On the panel with me was Dawn Felton, the mother of Kwadir Felton who was shot in the head by police "lived" but was made "blind" by his injuries. Police thought they had killed him; he lived so they falsely accused him and had him arrested. He was sentenced to 16 years in prison, blind, suffering seizures and in constant pain - for a crime he did not commit! The magnitude of what was done to this woman's son deserves "a page" all to itself. And when I recover from simply "hearing it" I hope to do so. Also on the panel was Waleeah Brooks, President of INPDUM, Lawrence Hamm, civil rights activist, lecturer, and chairman of People's Organization for Progress, and the Keynote speaker was none other than Omali Yeshitela - Chairman of the African People's Socialist Party and founder of the UHURU Movement. UHURU means "freedom now" and is a word used often in greetings and farewells by INPDUM members. Omali Yeshitela was fresh from Ferguson and had first hand information on what was occurring and why. It was the "uncut version" which we heard during the conference. Some spoke of this fight and how it has never "ever" ended and others shared the tragedy of what was done to their loved ones by police. And still others, like Lawrence Hamm told how there isn't a Thursday that goes by in which they hold their meetings that families aren't there "looking for help" because a loved one has been "murdered, or brutalized" by police. The cases are multiplying and the available help is short supply. People literally have no place else to go. And everything I heard "reaffirmed me" in my demand for National Action Against Police Brutality and Murder! It is a demanded which includes the "wrongful incarceration" of millions who were incarcerated "unequally underneath the law". I spoke concerning this demand for action and based on what I had heard, there was little reason to confess the need. But I did so nonetheless, for the sake of those who might be watching by "live streaming". And when I had finished a "vote" of the assembly was taken which unanimously passed a resolution to "endorse and support" National Action Against Police Brutality and Murder! It is exactly what I'd had hoped for "support" concerning this action. The support and endorsement of INPDUM is very important to the action for they have several chapters throughout the United States as well as "internationally" in Toronto, London, and Stockholm. This is important because "international" attention and pressure must be wielded in such as demand as this. Already, the gathering of information concerning Police Murders and Brualizations are being collected and gathered by the National Bar Association - consisting of "black lawyers and Judges" who are preparing to place a demand for action upon Eric Holder that is "nation wide" in scope! The documentation of "25 cities" throughout the United States concerning the murders of innocent people cannot be sent without a "loud and clear" demand for action by the people!! To ignore this "time" in history would be "a fatal mistake" on the part of us all. I am looking forward to further updates from INPDUM concerning their "endorsement and support" of this action. And I will keep you advised concerning it. In the meantime, support this action if you have not done so already. And find better "more creative" ways for getting the "word out" concerning this demand. I am continually seeking "better and better' ways to get the word out there and I encourage you to do the same. The links for "support" as well as the petition shall be posted underneath. Thank you, for your support in advance.

    2. GOOD NEWS!!!! SOMEBODY "HEARD" THE DEMANDS BEING MADE!!

      Danette Chavis

In the my video, I demanded that information be gathered and presented to Eric Holder in a "nation wide" demand for action. Well attorney's from across the United States have "heard me" and have announced just days ago, they are demanding the data from 25 cities across the United States! The information concerning the murders, brutalizations, and racial profiling of police will be collected and presented to the U.S. Attorney General of the Department of Justice, Eric Holder! After waiting so long and pushing this petition for quite some time, we should all feel relieved that those efforts have not been in vain. I know that I do, and I hope you will further those efforts by making this action known. Here's what I would like for you to do. We currently have 14,349 signatures on our petition and counting, if we each would donate just "one dollar" we would have money to really "galvanize" the nation towards this action. Some have given over $100 dollars because they believe in this effort. But in order to be inclusive and provide each of us an opportunity to further this effort, I ask you submit "one dollar". Of course, those who have no qualms or fears about where their donation is going, may donate as they see fit. But to the rest I say "one dollar" is all that is being requested. This week, I will be in Newark, New Jersey speaking on "national action against police brutality" and the donations that have been received will cover my transportation and expenses as well as provide for distribution of literature concerning this action. The more contributions that come in the "further out" I can go. Here's the link once again. You may also view the video where I am speaking concerning "National Action Against Police Brutality" - telling Eric Holder that with the data concerning our murders in front of his face - it cannot be ignored!! I will continue to keep you updated as I go forward with this action. http://www.gofundme.com/police-accountability

    3. PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS....

      Danette Chavis
      Petition Organizer

To aid in the demand for "nation wide action" the message concerning this demand must be spread out throughout the United States! Social networks have been the primary means of doing so and it works - but only if people "work it". The evidence does shows that the thousands of people who in fact have "signed" the petition have not gone beyond signing in any attempt to make the action known. Had they done so, we could have doubled the signatures on the petition daily, if each would commit getting just "one signature per day". The fact of the matter is, although asked to do so, they have not done so. But the failure of those to participate in this action cannot be the cause for the action or demands to come to a halt. I am therefore asking you send money to the website "Gofundme.com" where donations are being collected for the furtherance of this action. It means ads can be placed in major News Papers, leaflets concerning this action can printed, and travel expense can paid for when traveling "state to state" in order to encourage support for this action. To date, the expense regarding the furtherance of the demand has been carried by me alone, with the expectation that those who "signed" the demand would do their part, as requested, and obtain signatures. With the exception of a handful of "diligent consistent" supporters, that has not happened! There exist no other alternative but to you appeal to "your pockets" in a request that you now send money. If you will not "work" towards pushing this action "forward" and obtaining signatures, then "put your money to work for you". It's either one way or the other. And in as much as you have chosen not to work towards getting signatures the option remaining is "send money". http://www.gofundme.com/police-accountability

WE'RE MOVING AND YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS WILL ENABLE US TO GO EVEN FURTHER. WE ARE BECOMING MORE AND MORE AGRESSIVE IN GETTING THE WORD OUT ABOUT THIS PETITION AND SHALL CONTINUE TO DO SO. THE MURDERS OF POLICE HAVE ESCALATED TO AN "ALL TIME HIGH" AND DELAYS AND DENIALS FOR JUSTICE ARE RUNNING RAMPANT ACROSS THE NATION! WE MUST "QUICKEN" THIS ACTION AND MOVE IT FORWARD UNTIL THE ENTIRE NATION DEMANDING "NATION WIDE" ACTION. LIVES ARE ON THE LINE AND WE HAVE NO TIME TO LOSE. POST, SHARE, AND SPREAD THE PETITION "FAR AND WIDE". AND BY ALL MEANS, MAKE IT YOUR BUSINESS TO "DONATE" TODAY. http://www.gofundme.com/police-accountability

    6. THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS TO THIS CAUSE!!

      Danette Chavis
      Petition Organizer

Last week I had the opportunity to present the demands before a sub-committee at the United Nations, And I cannot tell you how much the feed back has "greatly" encouraged me. When I return to the United Nations, I'd like to have "thousands more" in signatures with me. Therefore, it is imperative that we "raise the bar" on obtaining signatures. To facilitate that, we began our fundraising campaign yesterday and donations have begin coming in. This will not only enable me to attend events in other states invited to, in order to "speak" about national action - but enable me to buy needed and necessary equipment in order to publish and disseminate information concerning it! What I need from you is not only to continue and encourage people to sign it but "your donations" as well. Some of are able to do "more than others" and that is understood. I want you to know that "every dime" will be accepted and appreciated and shall go towards this effort regardless of the amount received. What I look at is "the effort" not the amount because the effort tells me "your still willing to fight" and "make these demands". The actions I am taking are "for the people" and I want them to be :"by the people" and every effort they make compels me to do one further. And when there is "no effort" I agree with them that "nothing more" should be done. To date, we've gone as far as the United Nations! In no form or fashion are we to "slow down" now. It's time we become "aggressive" in demanding this action and your donations will most certainly help us to do that! Once again, a big thanks to those who "immediately" jumped at the opportunity to donate without hesitation. It is people like you who keep "the fires burning." All donations should be immediately sent to: http://www.gofundme.com/police-accountability

*I will continue to bring you updates as we go forward.

    7. DONATIONS ARE REQUIRED IN ORDER TO FURTHER THIS ACTION..

      Danette Chavis
      Petition Organizer

We've come to the point in our campaign where your financial support is needed. Unless we receive the needed funding we will be relegated to "posting and sharing" the petition on face book and further action is needed "beyond" this. I have been on cable TV, radio shows, rally's and protests "spreading the news" about this action but something more is required and that is funding. Not only will it enable me to travel and "spread the word" but purchase necessary equipment needed in order to do so. I encourage you to not only continue and post the petition but "donate now" and help us move forward like never before. It is a small price to pay when the end result is that "lives are saved". http://www.gofundme.com/e8onq0

    8. THE PETITION WAS BROUGHT BEFORE THE UNITED NATIONS!

      Danette Chavis
      Petition Organizer

Take a good, good, look - because this is how it's done! I've just returned home from a meeting down at the United Nations. It is the sub-committee meeting of the United Nations declaration for the "Elimination Of Racism Of The NGO Committee On Human Rights" I had no idea who would be in the room when I got there, I thought I was going to an assembly of some kind and would "sit and listen" from the audience. But God keeps putting me in places I never thought I'd be and this most certainly was one of them. The meeting room was over crowded with some having to sit on window ledges and the reason was because of the announcement of the U.N. concerning "racism" and the desire to end "discrimination". But the "hot topic" was Police Brutality, Ferguson, and the department of justice investigating what is clear and "outright murder". And of course, every leader in the room was advised of the demand I am making for National Action Against Police Brutality - and the number to date, of those who have signed demand! Can I tell you, that everyone in the room "agreed" with such action? Can I tell you, that many themselves are "sick and tired" of the games being played in government? What I've learned today, is there is a serious "stalemate" in progress: the people are waiting for the leaders to act - and the leaders are waiting for THE PEOPLE! I found myself in a room with people, who are in no form or fashion IGNORANT to what is being done, but when they "present the evidence" there is no one to make those in authority act! So it boils right down to THE PEOPLE! The people must be "heard" they must stand out and proclaim "loud and clear" the justice being demanded. If they cannot or will not do so, the "few" fighting for the people will be "walked over and ignored". Their are forces in places who are "organized" and ready to "smack us back" the minute we raise an issue concerning our ordeal. They can't smack us "all back" when we rise up in UNITY! National Action Against Police Brutality - I AM INDEED DEMANDING! I'm doing what I can to further this issue and those who have "signed it" must do their part. For all you know, I might be meeting with Eric Holder next week! Would he be impressed with 13,000 signatures demanding "nation wide" action, when the minimum is 100,000? I am 100 percent "pushing" this action - in every form and fashion! I come back and tell you about it because I want you to know "that I'm working towards it". What I need, is for YOU to do the same. I don't want to say "Danette Chavis is demanding "national action" - I want the "signatures backing me" when I say THE PEOPLE DEMAND IT! Sign it! Share it! and Post it "far and wide". www.change.org/petitions/national-action-against-police-brutality

WARNING! we must escalate our efforts and get the signatures needed IMMEDIATELY! The attacks of police have escalated in places like Ferguson and they are threatening to spread to other cities! People across the nation are talking about "national action against police brutality and murder" but those who signed the demand are silent! Where are you in the equation? You must encourage others to sign and you must "make this action known". None of us can afford to "sit back" and wait and see what happens! We must become "pro-active" concerning these demands immediately! I will keep you abreast of how the petition is moving forward - but I need for you to do "your part". Over 13,000 signatures are on the demand for action - and that can be "doubled daily" if each person would commit to obtaining just ONE signature, per day. Make it your business to do so beginning now! I will continue to let you know how we are "moving forward".

      Danette Chavis
      Petition Organizer

We've reached a turning point in this action. We have well over 10,000 signatures and more are yet coming in! With 10,000 signers to the demand for action we can significantly catapult the demand forward. That is, if each and every signer commits to obtaining at least "one signature" per day, by doing so we will have "exceeded" the amount needed for the demands to be heard! So let me ask you, "how bad do you want it?" Because the "need" is evident all around us. And since what we want and what we need is "one and the same thing" there should be no hesitancy whatsoever in getting the required signatures! I am out in the public, speaking with media, holding rally's in a demand for justice - all to show the need for this action! Your part, is encouraging people to "sign". Let's renew our efforts and "raise the bar" and "make it happen".

    13. Reached 10,000 signatures
    14. WE HAVE OBTAINED OVER 7,000 SIGNAUTRES AND THEY ARE YET COMING IN!

      Danette Chavis
      Petition Organizer

We are moving forward with over 7,000 signatures and counting! And we must maintain the momentum. I would like to first thank those of you who responded by sending the email advising you "signed" the petition! Some of you have been notified of the receipt and other are yet pending! But we will not stop or pause, concerning this campaign. In fact, it is time we escalate our efforts. The recent murder of a father of six which was video taped only highlighted the gravity of the atrocities being committed. For he was murdered in plain view using an "illegal choke hold" one that the commissioner of that city admitted was barred from use. Nevertheless, no formal charges have been filed and a family of six is without a dad and a husband. Before that we saw a homeless woman savagely beaten, out in the open on the side of a highway. She neither resisted arrest nor posed a threat to anyone. And in this case as well, police claim they are investigating when there is no doubt in anybody's mind who the "criminal" is who needs to be charged. We are not waiting for any investigation! We are moving full steam ahead and you are the fuel which will propel it all forward. Make a commitment this moment to post, share, and tweet the petition each and every single day until we have sufficient signatures to place the demands in the hands of those we are demanding a response from. We must work diligently to insure that national action is on the lips of every house hold in America. We must make it so we cannot be ignored. Post, share and tweet daily! And those of you who have a particular method in getting signatures and succeeding - we need to know about it! And in order to do this I would like you to sign in on the official page for National Action Against Police Brutality that its located on Face Book. When you enter the page click "like" and then post! Report what you have done and the result in signatures accumulated. We will be looking at those methods an incorporating them and looking for those who are able to manage and head Chapters in major cities for National Action Against Police Brutality! For upon sufficient signatures we will be galvanizing for a march upon Washington, DC unlike any other. And the head of those chapters will be responsible for galvanizing their cities march. As we grow closer in accumulating the needed signatures we will be discussing this further. In the meantime, post, share and tweet daily. And those who are exceptionally successful be sure to post on the face book page. We want to see how your able to do what it is your doing.

IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT MANY OF YOU WHO IN FACT HAVE "SIGNED" THE PETITION "HAVE NOT BEEN INCLUDED" IN THIS ACTION! YOUR SIGNATURE HAS NOT BEEN "COUNTED". INVITATIONS ARE BEING SENT BY CHANGE.ORG TO SIGN THE PETITION TO PEOPLE "WHO HAVE ALREADY SIGNED". THIS PREVENTS "ADDITIONAL PEOPLE" FROM SIGNING! EACH TIME AN INVITATION IS SENT - IT GOES TO THOSE WHO HAVE "ALREADY SIGNED" AND WILL NOT INVITE OTHERS - WHO HAVE NOT YET SIGNED! IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET AN "ACCURATE ACCOUNTING" OF THOSE WHO "SIGNED" THE PETITION, I AM ASKING EACH OF YOU TO WRITE AN EMAIL TO: NAAPB@ICLOUD.COM ...AND SIMPLY WRITE "I SIGNED THE PETITION! THAT IS THE EMAIL ADDRESS FOR NATIONAL ACTION AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY.

    17. CURRENTLY THERE ARE 6,340 SIGNATURES ON THE PETITION AND COUNTING....

      Danette Chavis

Our signatures have not risen to the magnitude of the atrocities being committed! As you will see in this report 99% of all complaints of excessive force and police brutality are left uninvestigated. Out of hundreds of complaints only 1% are investigated. The rest are dismissed as "frivolous". This action must be pulled into the forefront by the efforts of each and every one of us. There can be no way around it, it is we ourselves that must make the demand known. I challenge you to take the initiative in order to make that happen. Lives have been lost and there is no one but you to "speak on their behalf". Make your voice be heard loud and clear and encourage others to do the same by "signing" this petition today!

Police brutality getting out of control 2014 (99% of Cases Dismissed)

This bullshit has got to stop it's getting out of hand and without charges to the police beating and killing people at will. Several instances of police officers using excessive force have gripped national headlines in the new year. In one notable instance, the family of an 18-year-old schizophrenic teen is demanding answers after officers shot and killed their son.

I'm signing bc I've been seeing this happen insane amounts of times lately...more people are being killed or harmed by police than the other way around...badge doesn't equal execution or assault rights whenever they want to abuse they're "power"...n it's even worse that they pay no price for their actions...how many more times can "self-defense" be a legit reason or excuse?? The whole issue is corrupt!!
