During the interview, I discuss the difficulties in holding police accountable when justifications for murder are permitted based upon fear. An officers fear that his life is in jeopardy or belief a person possesses a gun - is being used to justify police murders! Under these conditions it is nearly impossible to hold police accountable. For the belief that his life is in danger cannot be proven and those who murder will arbitrarily make these claims to escape all punishment. Also discussed was our most recent fundraising event in which we show cased HIP HOP ARTISTS whose music not only addressed the murders of police but many of the social ills affecting poor communities of color, which many see NO WAY OUT of. I hope you share the information and let others know what we are doing to shed light on the issue and encourage their support. As I am going place to place encouraging support for these efforts, I am hoping you will do your part as well. For we are not merely running a petition but seeking a nation wide MOVEMENT.
