Help me convey to others the intentions concerning the demand. For we are not merely seeking "signatures" but a nation wide "movement". One which cannot be ignored. The time is ripe for a movement such as this. Look around you and see, all are demanding "police accountability". Listen as they declare the problem is nation wide in scope. Not only is such action needed across the nation but long over due! For this demand had begun long before the epidemic of police murders became apparent to the nation, but we have persisted through "highs and lows" regarding the demand in progress, while all others addressed the issue on a "case by case" basis. In fact, when you read the very beginning of this demand, we state at the top of the page the issue can no longer be addressed on a "case by case" basis. We knew then where this was heading, but sadly others were not quite convinced. We intend for the demand to be heard! We intend for it to be addressed and remedied - not for a few, but for the benefit of all. The fact is, police are murdering with impunity, and we can no longer afford to allow this by our silence, or failure to act. We must "all do something" to "push" the demand forward. Tell others that you've signed it and why. Help us to move things forward by participating in bringing it "forward and out" from obscurity.
