Within the fight for justice are the voices of thousands who go unheard. While thousands gather around in support of families in need of justice against police, is the people themselves who remain still at risk, after the conclusion, when the case has ended. And at the very next atrocity by police, they shall begin again to rally around and support those in need of justice. And the cycle continues... National Action Against Police Brutality and Murder is seeking a justice, by which all shall benefit across the board. And in order for that to take place, the "voice of the voiceless" must be heard! It is with that understanding that we present to you VOICES FOR JUSTICE WITHIN HIP HOP. A showcase of artists using spoken word, rap and song, to speak truth to power while addressing the social and economic issues of our time. Many are activists themselves "out on the front lines" fighting the injustice. And others, have travel throughout the United States and beyond with revolutionary messages in song. Some share the world in which they live in, with all the devastation and suffering that goes along with it. It is hoped the accumulation of these messages being given, will conclude with the knowledge and understanding "we are all suffering" and all desire change. And if we are honest we will admit that "change" begins with us, not just those we are prone to point the finger at and blame. I hope that this fundraising event will be greatly supported and the words being spoken by these artists are taken to heart.
