Six officer were indicted in the murder of Freddie Gray. On June 23rd the judge declared another officer not guilty! The 4 remaining officers will begin trial starting in July. But the question is - will any be found guilty in the murder of Freddie Gray? The defendants and Baltimore Police union have filed a lawsuit against the State Attorney General who brought the six officers up on criminal charges, for which they have all been indicted. They've alleged "defamation" against the state attorney general Marilyn Mosby. And after a judge gave a Not Guilty for the second officer indicted in the case - the police unions are now demanding ALL CHARGES be dropped against the officers! Attacking a state attorney for bringing charges against police where warranted is evidence that a MAJOR FIGHT to hold police accountable for their murders is more than needed.
