The demand in progress is one of "nation wide" proportions. It does not seek to address the issue of police murders on a "case by case" basis but across the board! The law has failed to bring about justice on behalf of the people - yet "justifies" the murders of the people underneath the law! We cannot allow nor accept the murders of innocent people under any circumstance. And the claims of "fearing for ones life" and imagining to "see a gun" are no exception! We demand police be held accountable for the murders being committed and that means punishment! There can be no "lawlessness" on the part of police and expect "law abiding citizens" in return. The people have contained their rage long enough! It is time for the government to act in accordance to the claims it has made concerning "liberty and justice for all!" If they refuse to act in the mist of the slaughtering of innocent people, then they have abandoned their rule and authority over such people and have left the people an "open prey". And those people are not responsible for what is done after being left and abandoned to forces authorized by state and government. The government has called for peace in the face of these murders. Clergy and authorized leadership have called for peace. If peace is what they want here are the means by which to get it.
