Dear Face Book Family and Friends! I would like to bring to your attention my dealings here on Face book and also the need for your support in posting and sharing the demand for National Action Against Police Brutality and Murder and the URGENT need to move BEYOND face book and out into the PUBLIC FORUM concerning the demand in progress. I have been repeatedly "blocked" from tagging friends in my posts nevertheless continued using alternatives ways of getting the word out there. Two months ago, I EXHAUSTED the limit on the "friend requests" I can receive and when I notified the people of this, the numbers "dropped" on the amount of friends I had. I posted and told people "perhaps I mis-calculated" and continued on posting and sharing. Two weeks ago, I had a total of 4,999 friends and began a "new page" for myself using the option of "public figure". Although people had already begun "liking" the page, I didn't tell anybody about it because it was still under construction. So all this week I've been preparing the page making posts on it, to share what I I'm doing and why. Today, I've been notified by Face Book that my page has been permanently "unpublished" with no reason being given. I was offered the option to appeal it and I intend to do so. But as I look at the number presented of how many friends I currently have (4,500) and know that it is totally inaccurate and that it has been reduced from the 4,999 just days ago, I do not see myself going "back and forth" arguing with them, making appeals on decisions they are making, when "more than sufficient people" are here on face book who can push the demand forward by sharing and posting it, within their networks, among their friends and upon their walls. I started a campaign fundraiser to "make up the slack" believing money would help get the demand out there. But even that has not come in to the degree in which it ought to considering the amount of people who say they "support the demand" and have indeed signed it. I am writing to tell you your participation is needed. Nothing that you have not been told before. If you don't believe it and feel "Danette" totally on her own, can carry the weight, responsibility, while financing a demand of her own resources look "where we are" and "how long" we've been demanding? When you question the lack of signatures and donations, without having "signed or donated" look in the mirror for the answer! The demand in progress requires all of us, particularly those who have signed it. And if Face Book can "block me" from tagging, "unpublish" my page, "reduce" the amount of Friends I have, and I still find ways to get info OUT THERE it should be little or nothing for you to donate and "daily" share our demand for nation wide action!
