Nation Wide Access to Abortion

Nation Wide Access to Abortion
The Issue
Being left to face misogyny and hate from the government of any given state should not be something women have to come to terms with. To start, only 105 years ago, in 1920, women got the right to vote, while in 1789 white men, who owned land had the ability to express what they wanted, politically (The Fight for the Right to Vote). And, during the 1800's, it was imperative for women to submit to all of the whims their husbands and fathers told them to. During the mass migration to Oregon sometime in the late 1700's, wives had to join their husband on the trail to Oregon, a long, treacherous journey, which was supposed to take a few months, when they wanted to stay where they were initially settled (Schlissel).
Now, some states across the U.S. have banned abortion, some even banned it in cases of r#pe or inc#st. This is the last straw. 63% of women think that abortion should be allowed in all, or most cases (Pew Research).
Without abortion or birth control, the government it limiting women to nearly nothing but meat sacks to breed with.
Would it be pleasant to see a women, dying in an alleyway, after being offered an illegal abortion, where she has to use a coat hanger to dispose of the non-breathing sack of cells in her womb?
No. It would not.
The time to act is now, or more women can end up like the metaphorical woman, dying. More lives can be risked, more people would have to carry a constant reminder of their s#xual abuse, after giving birth to a r#pist's child, or even their own family member's. No one wants to abolish a fetus, in most cases, women don't want to do something like that, but not having access to the care that they possibly need, can be fatal.
“If particular care and attention is not paid to the Ladies we are determined to foment a Rebellion, and will not hold ourselves bound by any Laws in which we have no voice.” (Abagail Adams)
