The flood situation in #Kerala is very bad as the #Media and recuse people can't reach most affected area since last 4 days, rescue boat's are moving at a height of coconut tree and lacks people's yet to be rescued.

Hence there So much delay  in Declaring Kerala floods as "#NATIONALDISASTER / National Calamity. Request the policy makers to do so.
Over 1.5 lakh people are in rehabilitation camps. Even hospitals are under water. There is yet to be a final count of the lives lost, people missing and roads, bridges and homes damaged, beyond repair. Rivers have been spilling over and hills crashing down in landslides to thickly-populated settlements. NDMA is indeed doing commendable work in rescue operations, in unison with local co-ordinators.
But why is the little State forgotten in the national priority basket?
URGENTLY, Kerala floods- 2018 should be declared as "NATIONAL DISASTER", so that it can smoothly realise it due claim to the national kitty for relief, re-rehabilitation and re-building.
Folks, have a heart. Please join a campaign urging the policymakers to declare Kerala Floods a National Disaster and make it entitled for all the due support from international organizations like UN bodies.

Deadly monsoon rain wreaked havoc in Kerala. Red alert declared in all 14 districts, all the 44 rivers in Kerala are overflowing. For the first time in history, the state has opened shutters of 35 of its 39 dams in Kerala. Hundreds of people were shifted to relief camps.
