As a local Austinite, I feel it is important to honor our past while continuing to move into the future. Otis Pousson was so much a part of Barton Springs Pool; the diving board was his kingdom. Naming the diving board after this historical figure and placing a plaque on it would be a fitting tribute to his legacy and connection with our community. This act would not only preserve his memory but also inspire future generations about the importance of local history and community spirit.
