As an employee, student and advocate for the cannabis industry, I see everyday firsthand how cannabis can positively impact people's lives. It is my belief that renaming the College National Football Championship game to the "Weed Bowl" would not only be a fun and witty change, but also an opportunity to spotlight CBD and cannabis as viable options for pain management and mental stability.

Both states participating in this championship have completely legalized recreational cannabis use for adults. This name change would reflect their progressive stance on cannabis usage, while also highlighting its potential benefits. Cannabis has been found effective in treating mental health conditions like PTSD, Anxiety, Depression to physical issues like chronic pain and nerve damage. 

However, despite these benefits, many states still strictly regulate cannabis use unethically. By renaming this popular event as suggested, we could bring national attention to these issues while promoting a more informed conversation about CBD and cannabis.
