Hello, there! Emperor Norton's 200th birthday is coming up on 4 February 2018. The Emperor's Bridge Campaign is working to persuade California state lawmakers that this momentous anniversary creates the perfect opportunity to — finally! — name the Emperor's bridge for him. The idea is to allow existing names for the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and its Western "span" to remain in place — but simply to ADD the name "Emperor Norton Bridge" for the bridge system as a whole.
