As you probably know, the nonprofit Emperor's Bridge Campaign, which I am honored to lead, was launched in late 2013, in part, to carry forward the call of this petition. The 80th anniversary of the Bay Bridge is coming up on 12 November 2016 — and the Campaign would love to use the occasion to formally launch our effort to name the Bay Bridge for the Emperor in 2018, which is the year of Emperor Norton's 200th birthday!
