Hello everyone, thank you so much for your support this year. Thanks to you, this petition now has over 60,000 signatures. What a powerful indication of just how much support there is for pill testing out there in the community.

Christmas time means summertime, which means lots of big music festivals and events. This time of year is never easy, with the anniversary of Daniel's death coming up in January, so close to the festive season. My hope is that all the young people heading to music festivals understand the risks they may be taking and that sometime soon, they will be able to make safer choices at those music festivals.

That's why I'm fighting for pill testing. So all of the parents and grandparents out there can breathe just a little bit easier knowing our kids are out there, doing what young people do. I won't rest until that happens, and I thank you for supporting me this year.

The good news is, our voices are being heard - I'm currently planning to meet with a representative from the NSW Berejklian Government in early 2019. Thanks to all the people who wrote to the NSW Premier and asked for this meeting. Now that the Andrews Government has been re-elected in Victoria, my hope is that I will be able to meet with him as well. Daniel Andrews has shown great leadership with the Richmond safe injecting room - surely a sign that he understands the importance of evidence-based harm reduction over fear and misinformation.

Thank you again for your support, please keep sharing this petition with your community.

Have a safe and Merry Christmas,
Adriana

PS did you see my story in the last issue of the Australian Women's Weekly? It means so much to know people want to hear Daniel's story.
