MY FATHER IS AN ABUSER - #NOBAILFORSIPHIWOMNGXALI

The Issue

My father is an Abuser! We need help!
I am sad to say that this is my father and he is an abuser. I never ever thought that in my life I would ever have to do this. I am forced to do it because of the situation. I need my Mom alive! Alive for myself, but more so for my younger siblings. She is currently in hiding, fearing for her life.

My father's name is Siphiwo Mngxali. A cheater abusive to his wife & kids emotionally and in any other way you can imagine to an extent of pointing a gun at her at our Mthatha home, in my presence, my 2 younger siblings, and our helper. My mother had to apologise to him even though she had not done anything.

Things went from bad to worse when my mom decided to divorce him.
You see my mom is the breadwinner and has always been. My dad has never really brought anything to the table. Everything we have has been because of my mom’s sweat and tears.
I cannot believe that I am talking about a guy who is my dad. It is painful.
My mother has been assaulted and harassed so many times in our family home.

Last week there was an attempt on her life. Iinkabi (hitmen) were sent to her workplace. Fortunately, she had just stepped out earlier that day rushing home to her children in East London. It really sounds like a movie.
Charges of GBV and other forms of violence that he has committed have been laid, including perjury, contravention of protection orders, false claims, and cases laid by him- it’s all too much.

He was subsequently arrested in Mthatha on the 8 March 2023 for attempted murder. He has applied for bail. His bail hearing started on 22 March and will be heard until 27 March 2023 at Mthatha magistrate court.
Please help us circulate this until the petition reaches the relevant provincial and national government officials i.e. Police, Department of Justice, NGOs, Department of Women, Youth, and persons with disabilities, and hopefully the President himself. We need protection. We need justice.
My mother is not safe. He must be denied bail because if bail is granted I am sure that he will not stop the ABUSE.
We want to live! We want to feel safe in our own home. We want Mom to live!
The system can’t fail us now!
