HOLD GENERIC PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUFFERING THEVE CAUSED.

The Issue

My daughter was 11 years old when she started taking Montelukast (generic for singulair) for her allergies.  The symptoms didn't show up right away well not all at once, but she became a different person.  In the 3 years she took Montelukast there were so many warning signs that I thought was just normal pre-teen behavior. As the months went by I had to have surgery so I asked Hayley to help her little sister in the bathtub, when my youngest comes to the room she tells me Hayley held her head under the water.  When I asked my oldest she screamed at me I wish I was just dead, and this is not my daughters normal behavior.

She was always angry and depressed and didn't care about anything.  Then on another occasion her dad got her these guns she could build out of wood but one shot rubber bands the other little wooden bullets well she took one to school without me knowing thankful she didn't get caught but she came in my room and was talking to me like normal and she told me that I better be glad the guns aren't real cause she would have already shot her sister and then herself, I took the guns that day and got rid of them.

One morning we were sitting on the bed and I saw her wrists and she had cut them with a razor she took out of a pencil sharpener.  After that she was put therapy, things did get worse to the point where her Dr took her off the medication, after my daughter cut her wrists I saw the class action lawsuit against singulair, I asked her doctor if what my daughter was going through could be from the Montelukast, he replied no most people dont have side effects, which I now know is not true.

It didn't happen over night  but the suicidal thought lessened the violence stopped but she's still having mental problems with multiple things, my daughter has isolated herself from the world, she cant remember stuff she'd learned she sleeps a few hours a night, and shes been showing OCD behavior and it has been proven from new test that are being done that there are long term side effects and that the medication changes the structure of the brain.

The Supreme Court ruled that the generic company is not liable for the pain and suffering my daughter and so many more has and possibly will for the rest of her life. I need the Supreme Court to understand the impact their ruling has done.  As of today the medication is still being prescribed and causing many people heart ache. Please if anyone is in my same position please let me know. We need to make the generic company's like Camber pharmaceutical liable for everyone they have affected.

Please sign and share and let's get the word out to stop the suffering this medication is causing and to get the Supreme Court and Camber pharmaceutical to be responsible.
