There are several unused, large areas of free land in Dwarka in Delhi (Asia's largest subcity) that are under Delhi Development Authority (DDA). This petition is an appeal to the DDA to at least convert one such area in Dwarka into an exclusive dog park. Scores of residents have no place to take their dogs for a walk / run / playtime due to several limitations including general public's attitude. I am certain people (pet parents) will be happy to pay for the upkeep of such a park that promises a safe, carefree and free enviroment for their pets, just as cities of Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai have managed to create. I urge residents of Dwarka, pet parents at large and animal lovers in general to please sign this petition to bring this to the notice of the relevant authorities. Unfortunately, my previous attempts at writing to DDA on its official website have remained unanswered!
