Gwalior is a city where there are no working NGOs for animal welfare. Most of the time if you see an injured dog or cow you will not have a place to take it for help. Animal cure and care was the first such initiative by a group of animal lovers, which is formed with the intention of caring for animals. But such initiatives need help from society to survive. However, the ngo is lacking funds and space. In the small area that the ngo has they are working under pressure of lack of depleting funds. 

In a recent meeting the Municipal Comissioner of Gwalior was requested to allocate more space and funds to the ngo. However, the decision is pending.
