In 2014 and 2021 Grey Highlands Council asked the Grey Highlands people: what is the best use of the Talisman Lands?
Both times the community clearly voiced that Talisman’s best use is to remain a public / community asset.
Both times, against the community will, and behind closed doors, Council sold to private interests.
Right now, Council can still get out of the current sale.
We demand that Council stop the sale they have started, and engage with the public they have ignored.
