Re-Location of Statue proposed on Mahatma Gandhi Road is still on a Traffic Island

The Times of India Report today 14 Dec states that the statue is proposed to be relocated on to the road Mahatma Gandhi Road which lies between CSMVS Museum and the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA). This road was the original tram route no 1. The tram tracks were removed to decongest the road. Now a Statue will again violate the Supreme Court Order of 18 Jan 2013 I.A.No. 10 OF 2012 in S.L.P. (C) No. 8519 OF 2006  "...State Government shall not grant any permission for installation of any statue or construction of any structure in public roads, pavements, sideways and other public utility places..
