MTA Maryland: Move Forward With the Baltimore Metro SubwayLink Green Line Extension

MTA Maryland: Move Forward With the Baltimore Metro SubwayLink Green Line Extension
The Issue
The Green Line is a proposed extension of the MTA Maryland Baltimore Metro SubwayLink, because, despite its name, less than half of it runs underground. As of October 2010, project planning for the Green Line is on hold for the foreseeable future. No funding was allocated for the line's planning as of fiscal year 2011. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. These areas of Baltimore that were planned to be served by the Green Line have no easy accessibility via public transportation. Therefore, this project MUST move forward as soon as possible. With this planned extension, several areas of Baltimore will be easily accessible via transit, which would be extremely helpful for those who want to see the tourist attractions in downtown Baltimore.
