Dear Valued Supporters, (This update is a compelling reading after the stepping down of Ms Hogate. The reason for her stepping down is NOT adding up)
For those that are new to this petition and my family’s fight for justice exceeding 14 continuous years, here is a brief note to understand how it all started.
My identity was used on Indonesian passport back in 2006. This passport was used as a Photo ID at Australia Post outlet to Redirect my entire family’s mail to a PO Box in Haymarket that was also fraudulently opened using that passport. This was, as per the Australia Post document, a free six months’ Redirection of mail service when people change homes. Haymarket Post office is in the heart of Sydney city.
This premeditated fraudulent/criminal activity was identified by Australia Post official because there was an envelope addressed to me with an incorrect house number 38 that does not exist in the street we live. The houses end at No.21. Postman took this envelope back to his supervisor at Australia Post’s Alexandria Delivery Facility saying “No such address”.
Then it was found that there was a cheque on my name inside that envelope. I was asked if I was expecting any money? I answered “NO” to that question. It was clear that the cheque had a large amount and the whole activity was planned for the envelope to end up in the PO Box on my name that was up and running. The fraud was detected, identified and the matter was handed over to the people who had powers to investigate this matter. They are the people working as Australia Post Corporate Security Group-CSG officials. They are like Australia Post’s own police to make it simple to understand. These officials have wide ranging powers and they regularly liaise with the state and federal police. When they got involved the cover ups started and have never ended for over 14 long years.
Ms Holgate is the THIRD Managing Director that has allegedly shown complete disregard to her position, moral and ethical responsibilities, corporate governance, corruption and crimes reporting and resolving responsibilities, looking after the victims and helping them by telling the truth about what has happened and so on.
Her silence on this matter is known to numerous politicians since she took office after Mr Ahmed Fahour resigned abruptly. Reasons provided by Mr Fahour for resigning were baseless and did not hold any water. All the hype about his excessive remuneration of 5.6 Million was allegedly a smoke screen created to hide the truth that he was sitting on a documented corruption and cover ups for almost the entire period he was the MD & Group CEO of Australia Post. No media wants to take him head-on and they stick to his remuneration is a disgrace.
With the latest developments that have taken place in the past three-four days and the stepping down of Ms Christine Holgate, pending investigations, for the expensive watches purchased for four senior employees of Australia Post to reward them for their work and our Prime Minister the Hon Scott Morrison MP’s outrage about this alleged reckless spending as seen in the Parliament, I have decided to share my letter to Ms Holgate sent by email on 18 October 2020 with you all.
It is very important to note that the copy of this letter was sent to numerous elected representatives along with my last update dated 17 October 2020. The title of that update is
“Ms Holgate, please release the envelope addressed to Vasant Wagh that is hidden for over 14 years”.
Along with this letter and the update was also a letter with a suspected forged signature of Mr Paul Gardner to my then solicitor Mr. Vincent Pelosi of Pelosi & Associates that I sent to Mr Don Kane-investigator with my comments on 1 June 2012. My solicitor wrote to Mr Don Kane and NOT to Mr. Paul Gardner as Mr Kane was the investigator in these matters.
Numerous Australia Post officials, including Ms Holgate and Mr Gardner himself, have not responded to my numerous letters requesting them to verify the signature of Mr Paul Gardner on the subject letter to my solicitor back in June 2006.
This is a golden opportunity for the portfolio Shareholder Ministers for Australia Post the Hon Paul Fletcher MP and Senator the Hon Mathias Cormann to expand the scope of their investigations beyond the watches purchased by Ms Holgate as gifts for the four employees costing nearly $20,000 and not $12,000 as previously reported.

“As Shareholder Ministers, we were surprised this morning to learn about the gifts provided to senior managers at Australia Post. We have instructed the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications, together with the Department of Finance, to conduct a formal investigation into the matter”.
“The Government expects all government entities, including Government Business Enterprises, to act ethically and adhere to high standards regarding the expenditure of money, as the public also rightly expects. The independent investigation will determine whether or not these high standards were met.
The investigation will also examine the actions of Board members in relation to this matter, and will report back to Cabinet.
The Chief Executive of Australia Post will be standing aside from her position for the duration of the investigation”.

The Chairman of Australia Post Board Mr. Lucio Di Bartolomeo made the following statement.
"The Australia Post board and management team will fully cooperate with the recently announced investigation to be conducted by shareholder departments"

My fight for justice is ongoing from June 2006. Ms Holgate MD & Group CEO of Australia Post has not provided documents requested by me and failed to respond to my numerous letters keeping the truth covered up since she took office. Her predecessor Mr Ahmed Fahour was no different. He sat on this unresolved matter for the entire over seven years he was the MD & Group CEO of Australia Post and failed to resolve it.
The money spent to hire external lawyer to cover up this matter, time spent, resources used, legal threats used to silence me, legal power used to cover up documented covers ups by the in-house lawyers of Australia Post, Freedom of Information officials engaging in unacceptable conduct, creation and supply of falsified documents, certification by a JP of false documents where that JP was the boss of the investigator and also CSG State Manager for NSW, Field receipt with falsified documents listed on it, hiding the REAL documents for all these years is going on and on and on. This is all documented and this unacceptable conduct has not stopped from June 2006 to October 2020 and is ongoing. What a disgrace that is. No one cared about my family’s pain and suffering and psychological torture. NO ONE.
These cover ups have no place in Australia Post as it is their job to maintain the integrity of mailing system. Hiding the truth deliberately is unacceptable and this is the time to investigate this whole matter right now while Ms Holgate has decided to stand down. There are numerous other Australia Post officials allegedly involved in the cover ups. They all deserve to be investigated along with Ms Holgate and also Mr Fahour.
One of the employees that got this expensive watch as a gift is Mr. Gary Starr. Mr. Starr was contacted by me numerous times for help and assistance to resolve this matter but he did not respond even once. He is on the Executive General Manager position.
What is the REAL Story behind this Watches given as gifts and the corruption and crimes covered up by Australia Post for over FOURTEEN years that is the knowledge of countless people in our country? There is a strong and wide spread perception that the reaction of our Prime Minister was disproportionate to the story of watches given as gifts.
What is the TRUTH? Why the alleged unacceptable silence of Ms Holgate on documented corruption and cover ups should not be the part of the broad investigations in addition to the Watches story?
Here is my letter dated 18 October 2020, just four days prior to Ms Holgate’s stepping down for an insignificant story of watches given as gifts. Which story is a million times more significant? It is the UNPRECEDENTED matter of my ID THEFT cover ups initiated by Australia Post officials back in June 2006. This is a fact and the longer the government ignores it, the Opposition ignores it, Ms Holgate ignores it and Mr Fahour ignores it, the worse will it get for them to protect their integrity. This is my view.
Those who expect the highest standards from others must put that expectation in practice for themselves first. We are all watching.

The time frame between my letter to Ms Holgate that was copied to SEVENTEEN elected representatives including the Honourable Ministers, the Honourable Members of Parliament and the Honourable Senators and Ms Holgate’s stepping down is just FOUR DAYS.

Dear Ms Holgate,
The following is my latest update dated 17 October 2020 of my Petition to you with the title “Australia Post must never cover up IDENTITY THEFTS” on Change.org platform. It is self-explanatory. You have failed to address this serious unresolved matter since I first contacted you. Your numerous officials, past and present, are fully aware of the envelope addressed me with a cheque inside on my name that was before Mr Steve Gabell of ADF. Ms Roslyn of ADF also knew about this envelope. Mr Don Kane-Investigator CSG NSW tried to hide the fact that this envelope was the reason this fraud/crime was identified as there is no 38-number house in the Randolph Street, Rosebery, NSW 2018. The postman took it back to Mr Gabell saying “No such address”. The rest is the story of cover ups after cover ups that you have been told time and again by me. Your failure to respond to my letters, faxes. emails, phone calls, requests for a meeting and the regularly sent updates as the one below is of extremely serious concerns to me.
Why the envelope address to me is hidden from me and my family from June 2006? Is it not my mail, despite the incorrect house number 38 on it, especially when I am the only person in whole of Australia with this name from 1985 without any exceptions? Is it criminal to hide this mail addressed to me from me? Why are you protecting the wrongdoers within Australia Post? What is your benefit? Who are the criminals/fraudsters that need to be protected? What is the benefit of all those that started the cover ups? What about Mr Alan Barwick JP that certified the fabricated documents? He was the boss of Mr Don Kane at the time. He was the State Manager CSG NSW. What was his role and the responsibility to tell us the truth?
I request you to provide me the copies of the front and back of the following documents immediately to start the process of resolution.
1. Envelope addressed to Vasant Wagh that the postman took back and handed over to Mr Steve Gabell.
2. The cheque that was inside this envelope.
3. All the other documents inside this envelope.
4. The REAL Application to Redirect Mail form with my name and 38 Randolph Street, Rosebery, NSW 2018 as the address.
5. The REAL PO Box application form.
6. The Mobile telephone number that Mr Steve Gabell called that was on the REAL Application to Redirect Mail form as in the point 4 above before cancelling this Mail Redirection and putting RED FLAGS on it.
I also need to know why are you and numerous others including Mr Paul Gardner are failing to tell me if the signature of Mr Paul Gardner on the letter received by my then solicitor Mr Vincent Pelosi of Pelosi & Associates is a genuine signature or a forgery. The image of that letter is provided below with my comments and was sent to Mr Don Kane back on 1 June 2012. He did not respond. At that time the signature of Mr Gardner was not suspected as a forgery by me but that is not the case now. Numerous of your other officials are also silent on the question of authenticity of this signature and have failed to respond including Ms Christine Corbett who has now left her 27 years job with Australia Post. She was on 1.5 Million remuneration and baselessly denied any corruption and crimes cover ups. Will you investigate her silence and conduct?
Your immediate response is warranted because this matter needs a prompt resolution process put in place by you because others have dismally failed to act and do anything about this unresolved matter. This matter will not rest just because you and others are silent on documented corruption and cover ups.
I also remind you that the permission you gave to Ms Nicole Sheffield to work at ABC is questionable. That is also a fault of ABC Chair Ms Ita Buttrose is my view.
My letter to ABC in that regard has not received a response.
You have a chance to correct your side regarding this appointment. Ms Sheffield had direct links to News Ltd in the past and you may be aware that a petition by the former PM the Hon Kevin Rudd to hold News Ltd to account attracted 280 000 signatures in matter of days. I have serious concerns that Mr Rudd, when given the opportunity, did not act on my concerns with Australia Post where the declining standards of democracy were put before him by me just before he quit politics. I have cancelled my subscription to Daily Telegraph in protest as they would not answer my letters despite being their loyal subscriber. They are not independent and impartial and they may suffer in the long run is my view. The ordinary people are fed up of the biased journalism.
This letter is sent to elected representatives so that they are also aware that I have given numerous chances to you to act and resolve this matter.

Below this update was the letter from Mr Gardner with his, suspected forged signature to my then solicitor. Numerous elected representatives have received this letter to Ms Holgate from me.
Suddenly in few days’ time Ms Holgate stands down. The expensive watches given as gifts story pops up but nothing about my letter to Ms Holgate that is with numerous elected representatives has come out. It deserves to come out with full force and then these watches given as gift story will look very much insignificant straight away.
Giving gifts is not criminal but hiding the truth to cover up the crimes is allegedly criminal. My petition is now signed and supported by 19742 people from every corner of Australia.

The power of truth will prove that money power is no match to the strength and power of the truth.
If Ms Holgate had shown honesty, integrity and values she may not have faced the possible irreversible reputational damage which in my view is self-inflicted.
Ignoring me will come at a price and I hope Ms Holgate will realise that protecting the wrongdoers is not worth anything.
I once again request Ms Holgate to meet me in Sydney as she has now some time on her hands while she is not the MD and CEO of Australia Post. Listening to my unprecedented story in the history of Australia Post first hand may give her strength to fight corruption. She can fight corruption without holding any position.
For the Board of Australia Post to remain silent on this documented corruption and cover ups is a NATIONAL DISGRACE. Two of the current members on the Board knew about my fight for justice even before they were appointed as the board members.
My suggestion to all the victims is simple. Please do not suffer in silence and never allow the criminals to win. That is the path I have taken. I hope Ms Holgate will follow a different path and tell my family the TRUTH no matter what the ramifications could be. We need a corruption free Australia and corruption free Australia Post. This documented matter has the potential to open the doors for eradicating corruption. No one has ever challenged anything that I have written in my petition and updates and posted documents and that shows the strength of this case.
We, together, can make a CHANGE and that change starts from cleaning up AUSTRALIA POST first because we OWN Australia Post.
Please help my family to get justice.
