Dear Valued Supporters, The two major milestones of 2000 signatures and then 2500 signatures have now been reached and the support is growing. The current supporter number stands at 2580 on 10 June 2018 at 2:34 pm. Thank you all for your support. I did not put an update for some time so as to give lot of time to one of the most Senior officials of Australia Post to respond to my letter about this petition but no response is received. This is why I wrote a letter to Ms Holgate about this lack of response from her Senior Executive recently and awaiting her to respond to my letter and give me a meeting before I provide her with my petition letter with the supporters' names and to give her an idea of this fight for justice that is ongoing for the past almost twelve years. On 14 June 2018 it will be Twelve long years for this matter to have remained unresolved. I also contacted Australian Federal Member of Parliament to support my petition as he is aware of the unresolved matters from 2012. The unsatisfactory response from him is as follows: ___________________________________________________ "Dear Vasant Your matter has been investigated by the police, the Ombudsman and ICAC. Each of these independent statutory authorities have informed you there is no basis to pursue any civil or criminal matter against Australia Post. I understand several Attorney’s General have assessed your matter and believe there is no basis for any action against Australia Post. I am sorry but there is nothing more I can do to further this matter on your behalf." __________________________________________________ All the current supporters and all the future supporters are requested to note that whatever is mentioned here by this Member of Parliament is NOT TRUE. I am not aware of what is his source of this false, misleading and deceptive information. I have never ever been contacted by the Police, the Ombudsman and ICAC or any of the Attorney-Generals from 2006 to date to tell me what this MP has written above. I will soon write to this MP to get any evidence that he may have to show it to me to justify his letter sent via email to me on 14 May 2018. This unfounded and baseless letter from a MP is a good example why the democratic processes used by me to get a resolution have failed so far. Ms Holgate is expected to act and give me a meeting so that numerous documents could be shown to her by me that will in my view prove, beyond any reasonable doubt, that the truth is hidden from my family by many past and present employees of Australia Post. There is no honesty, integrity, values and transparency seen at any time. They have breached their own code of conduct, moral and ethical responsibilities and stated values. Many high-ranking officials of Australia Post and their Corporate Security Group and Security and Investigations officials have failed in their duties and that is documented. This is also the case with Australia Post’s own lawyers, Freedom of Information-FOI officers and managers as well. Ms Holgate has the responsibility towards my family as we are the Customers of Australia Post from 1985. Giving me a meeting could be the beginning of the resolution of this matter. I hope she will act very fast. It is also worth looking at the untimely death of one of the highest-ranking officials in the Melbourne Headquarters of Australia Post as mentioned in my petition. Ms Holgate giving me a meeting is very important to my family and your ongoing support is expected to get that meeting is my view. The supporters will now get some idea why I am hitting the brick walls. The democracy is failing to give me a voice and this is the reason why I have to use the Change.org platform to get a voice. The right person to give me that voice right now is Ms Christine Holgate. It is needless to say that numerous Australia Post officials are aware of this matter and many are directly involved in these matters. Some of them have left Australia Post and that includes the former MD and Group CEO as well who resigned very abruptly. It is my sincere request to all my supporters for trying their best to spread the word to as many people as they could to get my supporter number grow at a very fast rate. Ms Holgate in my view should act on this petition right now so that this matter is resolved as far as Australia Post's involvement is concerned. Your support is my family's best chance and hope of getting justice and voice. Thanks again. Vasant Wagh
