Petition: Restore Widow’s Normal ADS with Original Base Damage in Marvel Rivals

To the Marvel Rivals Development Team at Netease,

We, the undersigned members of the Marvel Rivals Widow Alliance, are passionate players who deeply appreciate the recent efforts to evolve Widow’s kit. We want to start by commending the team for the exciting new Ultimate abilities. The Hyper ADS sniper shots introduced during her Ultimate feel powerful, satisfying, and thematically strong. These enhancements add meaningful depth and high-impact moments to her gameplay, and we fully support keeping them as a signature feature of her ultimate.

That said, we respectfully request a targeted adjustment to better balance her overall kit. The removal of Widow’s standard ADS scope and normal damage output outside of her Ultimate has significantly diminished her core identity and consistent viability. We believe Widow should retain her classic normal ADS functionality and balanced base damage in her standard form, allowing her to play as the precise, deadly marksman players have come to love.

Proposed Solution: Keep the excellent new Hyper ADS sniper capabilities exclusive to her Ultimate, while restoring her normal ADS scope and standard damage when not in Ultimate. This change would preserve the strengths of the recent updates while returning her baseline gameplay to a healthy and enjoyable state.

This balanced approach would:

Maintain the positive innovations in her Ultimate
Restore her fundamental sniper fantasy outside of ult
Improve player satisfaction and long-term engagement
Demonstrate the team’s commitment to thoughtful iteration based on community feedback
We are committed supporters of Marvel Rivals and want the game to thrive. However, without this correction, many dedicated Widow mains will feel compelled to step away from the game. We urge the development team to implement this change so Widow can shine in both her base kit and her enhanced Ultimate form.
