According to a news report dated 02 March 2016 from Business Standard, India has approached several countries for handing over documents related to Bose. Russia, Germany, Japan and UK have already responded, but response from Austria, Italy and USA are awaited. The GOI has declassified all the available classified files and transferred them to National Archives of India for permanent retention and to be released digitally in the public domain.
