Bathrooms divided by the gender binary do more harm than good. Transgender and genderqueer students at Sammamish deserve to feel safe when using the restrooms at school. Currently, SHS is violating district policy by failing to provide all students with access to bathrooms consistent with their gender identity. The students of Sammamish demand that this policy be respected and that all bathrooms in the school be labeled without division of genders.
