MPs must vote on WASPI compensation NOW

NOVEMBER 2024 UPDATE: SIGN OUR NEW PETITION

Dear friend,

Thank you for your continued support for the WASPI Campaign and for signing our petition to the previous administration.

Hundreds of MPs and the cross-party Work and Pensions Select Committee support our calls for fair and fast compensation, but we need to show the Government we enjoy the full support of the country too.

In recent days, tens of thousands of you have signed a petition to the new Labour government, calling on them to urgently 'Introduce a compensation scheme for WASPI women.'

The Prime Minister has indicated that an announcement on compensation is imminent and the next few weeks will be crucial in our fight for justice.

To help us reach 100,000 signatures and secure a Commons debate, will you take a moment to SIGN OUR NEW PETITION on the UK Parliament Petitions website?

Thank you again for your support.

Best wishes,

The WASPI team

P.S. Keep up to date with the campaign via the WASPI website, waspi.co.uk and on our Facebook and X (formerly known as Twitter) pages.

Dear Penny Mordaunt,

The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman has confirmed that WASPI women are due compensation. But the Department of Work and Pensions refuses to comply.

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on this issue – which is backed by hundreds of MPs across party lines – has long backed substantial compensation.

The Commons must urgently have the opportunity to debate and vote on their proposals, and any others that MPs wish to bring forward.

After all, with 3.5m affected – and one dying every 13 minutes – everyone knows somebody who has been affected by the DWP’s incompetence and neglect of 1950s-born women.

Yours sincerely,

WASPI campaigners
