Let us reunite well-loved Whistler resident Charie Santiago with her sister April. Charie has terminal cancer and has not a lot of time left.  Her wish is to see and say her goodbyes to April who is in the Philippines. April has an active Canadian tourist visa, but the current travel ban is not allowing her entry to Canada. They already applied for an exemption a few months ago but got denied. So much precious time has been lost already

Charie is a familiar face in our community, having worked with TD Bank and Blueshore.  Sweet, gentle and thoughtful, she never fails to grab an opportunity to make someone happy. Let us return the favor and make her happy this time.

Below is a message from her husband:

I’m asking for our neighborhoods help. Please post, message, email, call Patrick Weiler, MP. to help my wife Charie to get an exception from Canada Immigration so she can be with her sister before it’s too late. Our last CT Scan has shown that her tumors on her skull and in other parts of her body have doubled in size and are growing & multiplying. I hope and pray for more time with her but she is getting weaker and I’m afraid her precious time is limited.
