Hi All, Tomorrow is the West Babylon School District Budget Vote and Board Of Education elections. Your vote matters! Three current board members are up for re-election: Lucy Campasano, John Evola and Jennifer Wandasiewicz. There is one last minute candidate running as a write in candidate: Elizabeth (Liz) Ehrichs. You can vote to keep the three existing Board Members or vote for two of them and write in Elizabeth Ehrichs. Liz is one of the voices that helped bring about this petition to fruition. Her name is Liz Ehrichs. When I worked for the WBTA, Mrs. Ehrichs reached out to me to help with the OptOut campaign. She not only helped, she took the helm. Among the many ways she supported us, I was most impressed at the way she set up a forum to inform the community. Liz Ehrichs is smart, she does her research to become knowledgeable, and most importantly she’s a fearless advocate for our students. There were many times she spoke at BOE meetings in the best interest of our students. She’s not afraid to take the heat. So what exactly is a write-in candidate?
