Dear SGU Faculty members and administrators,
I wanted to thank you very much for your hard work and your tremendous support over the past two years with the COVID pandemic. Meanwhile, I would like to ask you to kindly give the optional remote opportunity for the reasons stated in the below link just for the term-5 medical students:
We all know that making two significant moves in 4 months seriously affects our family's mental health. The packing up & moving to a new country and trying to adjust in 4 months, then immediately packing up and moving back is devastating for many term-5 students, or it could be almost impossible for them! It can negatively affect getting ready to take the step 1 exam, one of the most critical and stepping-stone exams in our career. I wish our great SGU administrators would be more compassionate and understanding towards the concern some Term-5 students have, the same compassion and understanding you're teaching us to show towards our future patients.
Thank you for your empathy, and I really appreciate your consideration.
Best regards,
