Dear term 5- SGU medical school students,

Please CONTINUE TO SEND EMAILS to the school administrators. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT.

Because we haven't received a response from the school administrators yet, We NEED each of us or our supporters in our family to send emails to the school administrators politely. They must consider and respond to our request for the optional online opportunity.

Thank you very much.

Here are the email addresses:

·       Dr. Charles R. Modica; Chancellor

o   cmodica@sgu.edu

Dear SGU Faculty members and administrators,

I wanted to thank you very much for your hard work and your tremendous support over the past two years with the COVID pandemic. Meanwhile, I would like to ask you to kindly give the optional remote opportunity for the reasons stated in the below link just for the term-5 medical students:

https://chng.it/w4fM8SZF

We all know that making two significant moves in 4 months seriously affects our family's mental health. The packing up & moving to a new country and trying to adjust in 4 months, then immediately packing up and moving back is devastating for many term-5 students, or it could be almost impossible for them! It can negatively affect getting ready to take the step 1 exam, one of the most critical and stepping-stone exams in our career. I wish our great SGU administrators would be more compassionate and understanding towards the concern some Term-5 students have, the same compassion and understanding you're teaching us to show towards our future patients.

Thank you for your empathy, and I really appreciate your consideration.

Best regards,
