What will it be like in a year or two?
Will these planes crash into your home killing you and your family, or your neighbors? After countless numbers of recent deadly collisions of small planes in the past month safety concerns are growing (Recent fatal crashes: Michigan air show plane crash, Helicopter Collision in Riverside, small planes crashes in Van Nuys, Florida neighborhood crash, Long Beach, Murrieta, New Mexico, ...). North Las Vegas Airport has had its fair share of recent deadly crashes too.
“KVGT is a very unforgiving airport. Flying is unforgiving to begin with. You can’t just have a fender bender and pull over and knock the dents out as was demonstrated in the recent crash. Mistakes in the flying world can be and usually are CATASTROPHIC, and there are many, many ways for pilots to make mistakes at North Las Vegas Airport” according to an active flight instructor and a retired Army Safety Specialist.
They’ve put so many planes on top of our neighborhood in order to yield space, and still come within 400 vertical feet of one another, making the already condensed airspace out of North Las Vegas Airport even more crowded.
The jet noise in Sun City and Summerlin communities is relentless and the airplanes are flying at lower altitudes over our homes and communities around golf courses, lakes, and parks. We can no longer sleep uninterrupted without being bombarded by low flying jets that wakes us up early mornings and commercial planes that prevent us from sleeping at nights, or throughout the day. The FAA is rerouting heavy traffic (big commercial planes from Harry Reid) at low altitude on top of Sun City and Summerlin communities, early morning hours like at 4 am.
Residents no longer even feel safe at home. Some are afraid of retaliation, aviation bullying and abuse. General Aviation dangerous activities out of KVGT means HELL for many residents. We have our neighborhoods destroyed.
In between 400 flights coming out of KVGT, Summerlin homes, in particular NW, Sun City, TPC Summerlin and Summerlin west are in direct flight path of taking off and landing of low flying planes and stunt planes with history of illegal substance abuse and fatal crashes. While there are almost little to no traffic over Henderson Anthem or Green Valley, our communities being bombarded by hundreds of low flying planes and stunt planes and their war games. Most of these businesses like Sky Combat Ace and a dozen others have recently been dumped from Henderson to North Las Vegas Airport due to numerous noise and safety complaints from the residents.
Sky Combat Ace loud E300s (N466MD , N6855S, N247MA, N69XT, N269KD, N21XT, N763DT, and N700DX) are routinely joyriding on top of NW, Summerlin West, TPC Summerlin and Sun City Summerlin, targeting the residents with flybys, dives and dangerous maneuvers.
In addition to constant noise, there are long-term impacts of continuous exposure to toxic aircraft emission at low altitudes. Jet engine emissions contain large amounts of nano-sized particles, which are particularly prone to reach the lower airways upon inhalation. According to research, you're more likely to DIE from exposure to toxic pollutants in plane exhaust than in a plane crash.
Should families wait until their loved ones turn up with elevated rates of asthma, high blood pressure, nervous system issues, cardio disease, cognitive decline, Alzheimer's, respiratory disease or cancer in a few years, and then demand the FAA and/or Congress do something? Or should they demand that the FAA and/or Congress act now?
Please contact Congresswoman Susie Lee office and ask for a Congressional Inquiry to the FAA. We need an explanation why these stunt plane BANNED or dismissed in other places have been dumped on top of our homes and they are harassing the residents with flybys, dives and dangerous maneuvers, some below Federal regulations. The FAA is sending screaming jets on top of your homes at low altitude, day and night. FAA's NextGen is a NIGHTMARE you'd never forget.

Tell her to Move Sky Combat Ace and similar sounding companies to outside the City Limit like jean Airport. Too many planes are joyriding on top of our homes, too often and too low. Ask Congresswoman Susie Lee to STOP rerouting heavy traffic (big commercial planes from Harry Reid) at low altitude on top of Sun City and Summerlin communities early morning hours (4 am to 7 am) and late at nights.
Ask Congresswoman Susie Lee to be our voices in Washington, to stop the overreach of a Federal agency that is serving the airline industry and General aviation bottom line at the expense of taxpayers. Please tell the FAA it doesn't own the airspace, taxpayers do, and the airlines and general aviation are granted the privilege of operating safely and with public consent.
