In addition to Sky Combat Ace loud E300s, Vegas Aviation and other LLCs (based outside state of NV or in Henderson) are TARGETING Sun City Summerlin because of the view of our golf courses. The only reason these planes CHOOSE TO practice over Sun City and Summerlin is the view of our golf courses.
The planes owned by Vegas Aviation are OCCUPYING Sun City and Summerlin airspace, they like to FLY LOW AND SLOW so they enjoy the view of golf courses while they are charging thousands of dollars for their supposedly “flight lessons”. At our expense.
They come up with bogus excuses like “there is shortage of pilots” so they could do whatever they like, whenever they like, like obnoxiously looping and overflying Summerlin homes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. So they wake you and your neighbors on Sunday morning as early as 5 am.
Vegas Aviation is flagrantly and repeatedly violating guidelines by opening up a practice area right on top of our homes. They are EXCESSIVELY LOOPING and AGGRESSIVELY MANEUVERING on top of Sun City/Summerlin homes to celebrate their newly found “FREEDOM” they have been given to harass neighborhoods that pay expensive mortgages and property tax. Daily abuse and harassment of Summerlin residents that work hard during the week, and may only have Sundays off to rest or relax.
Vegas Aviation is now abusing and flaunting their “privilege” to fly over tens of thousands of homes on a daily basis (as early as 5 am, even on Sundays and as late as 9 pm during week days), they DO NOT even bother to get out of congested areas to practice in outskirts of the City anymore, which is SO EASY TO DO. They are not even “pretending” to care that they are making life brutal and unbearable for the residents below. Our homes are FREE auxiliary Training ground for their frequent daily assault.
North Las Vegas Airport has turned into a Safe Haven for super loud annoying planes with a murky history of previous safety issues or fatal crashes. Some of these pilots are high on drugs and have had history of substance abuse. They are a touring business registered under “Flight School” so they can exploit the FAA’s loophole to avoid oversight. Recently Vegas Aviation experienced Landing Gear Collapse and their planes sustained substantial damage to the left aileron and left wing. Vegas Aviation is running their planes like used old cars, and it would be just a matter of time before they end up with an engine failure on top of our homes.
Some days from dawn till dusk and beyond, rarely are we offered more than a 10 minute window without some kind of airplane noise. There is almost no traffic in Henderson Excusive on a daily basis, whereas these low flying planes (belonging to flight schools and touring businesses) are now occupying Summerlin airspace without any KIND OF REGULATION OR OPPORTUNITY FOR A FEEDBACK from the residents below. At this point, our safety and sanity is at stake. Our basic quality of life is under daily assault by businesses that have been BANNED or DISMISSED in most other places.
If Sun City and Summelin residents don’t take a stand, the abusive and aggressive behavior of these rogue businesses will turn Summerlin into a ghetto. Sky Combat Ace and Vegas Aviation will DEVALUE the price of Sun City and Summmerlin homes, not to mention they risk our lives and health by their aggressive threatening war-like flying behavior.
KVGT has REFUSED to put any kind of curfew or regulation in order to protect the basic quality of the residents living west of KVGT. Everyday new LLCs are being added to the list of perpetrators (CHENNAULT FLYING SERVIC, West Air Flight Training, CLEAR SKY AVIATION SALES & LEASING LLC, GENERAL AVIATION LLC, OVERLAND FREEDOM LLC, VEGAS WARBIRDS LLC, CASS AVIATION LLC, CHRISTIANSEN AVIATION LL, etc, etc) and the list grows on and on.
